We have a highly motivated team committed to supporting each child to attain their potential and provide children with engaging learning experiences. Sleepy Hollow Preschool provides a learning environment that lays a strong foundation for more formal instruction as students progress through school.
We value the diversity children bring to our setting – ethnically, racially, linguistically, and developmentally.
We are a fully inclusive setting open to the whole community operating within an Islamic ethos.

Target Skillsets

A child’s preschool years are a time of critical growth in all developmental areas: adaptive, cognitive, language, physical and social.

Most children are at least three years old when they begin preschool and remain in preschool for approximately two years before entering kindergarten.

Our preschools & aftercare are based in southern suburbs & northern suburbs providing care for infants from 4 months – grade R.

We offer a range of age-appropriate activities and programs that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child, and we encourage active exploration and curiosity through play-based learning.

We also believe in strong communication and collaboration with parents, as we work together to support your child’s growth and development.

To secure your child’s placement your completed application form must be returned asap.  Registration is ongoing throughout the school year subject to available openings.

When your child’s placement is confirmed, we will provide you with our school forms (including a medical health record) that must be returned to the school office before your child starts school.

Sleepy hollow preschool

With over 20 years of experience in establishing preschools in the Southern Suburbs, Sleepy Hollow is an expert in catering to the unique needs, talents, abilities, and interests of each child. Children are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to develop good social skills, make learning fun, and establish a daily routine that meets the spiritual, physical, mental, and educational needs of children. Our aim is to provide every opportunity for our children to grow into well-rounded individuals.

"Our vibrant play environment encourages curious minds to learn, explore, and discover, enabling them to reach their individual potential. Children who play outside benefit from the following: aerobic exercise, the growth of healthy bones (due to the exposure to vitamin D), strengthened muscles, improved and acquired new skills, contribution to cognitive and social development, increased attention spans, and aid in the development of the sensory system."

The early years of a child's life are the most important period for their development. Learning through play in a loving and encouraging environment is of paramount importance. Our children can develop self-confidence and an understanding of their needs, who they are, and how to become compassionate and responsible members of society through this process.

Our operating hours are between 7am - 6pm from Monday to Thursday and 7am - 5pm on Fridays at all of our branches.

– Role model positive relationships by supporting each other in all duties, respecting each other’s ideas and contributions, and communicating positively.
– Are committed to providing quality early childhood and Islamic education. They meet regularly to discuss the curriculum, plan experiences, reflect on our teachings, and share ideas. Staff development and training occur throughout the year to uphold the high standards we set, ensuring that our educators remain alert to the ever-changing needs of today’s families and current research.

Our director and educators are a dedicated group of professionals whose commitment to our center and each child extends beyond the center itself. Their commitment to early childhood education is truly an avocation. As a result, they bring a unique and special blend of professional skills and personal experience to their jobs.”
